About Us

We are a boutique international bookshop located in Palma's bustling Santa Catalina area. Born from our love of global conversations and our Mediterranean heritage, La Salina is an inviting space for book lovers of all backgrounds. 

As part of the city’s evolving cultural landscape, our mission is to promote world literatures in English, Spanish, Catalan and French. We offer a hand-picked selection of books, including fiction, essays and highly giftable coffee-table books, and a small growing corner with cooking, design, art, and children books in German. 

We've also stocked a number of sustainable, made-in-Mallorca products from brands we believe in and want to share with you. We've got beautiful stationery, unique gifts, including multilingual games and sustainable toys.

Serving both local and international audiences, we host eight monthly book clubs, and regular literary events dedicated to community building.
