About Us

We are a boutique international bookshop located in Palma's bustling Santa Catalina area. Born from our love of global conversations and our Mediterranean heritage, La Salina is an inviting space for book lovers of all backgrounds. 

As part of the city’s evolving cultural landscape, our mission is to promote world literatures in English, Spanish, Catalan and French. We offer a hand-picked selection of books, including fiction, essays and highly giftable coffee-table books, and a small growing corner with cooking, design, art, and children books in German. 

At La Salina, we are passionate about paper, which has led us to curate a growing collection of fine stationery and designer stationery items. From beautifully crafted notebooks and planners to other delightful paper products, we have everything a stationery lover could desire.

In addition, we are proud to offer a selection of sustainable gifts and local products made in Mallorca, including handcrafted candles, incense, reading glasses, and other accessories that any avid reader will cherish.

Serving both local and international audiences, we host several monthly book clubs, and regular literary events dedicated to community building.
